Type your query: Enter any question, keyword, or phrase in the main search bar. On desktop, press the "/" key to jump straight to the search box.
Submit: Press Enter or click the Search button. Results open on the Results page in your selected mode.
Search suggestions: As you type, Adge suggests matching queries from your recent history. Click a suggestion to search it instantly.
SearXNG (Free, Default): A free privacy-respecting meta-engine that aggregates results from dozens of independent indexes with zero ad ranking. Available on all devices including mobile.
Federated Meta-Search (Paid): Queries dozens of raw indexes simultaneously and filters out commercial trackers. Best for general web queries.
Deep Research RAG (Paid): Reads the top pages and synthesizes a cited, ad-free research report. Best when you need an answer instead of a list of links.
Academic Crawler (Paid): Targets open repositories (arXiv, PubMed, data.gov, .edu) for raw data files, unindexed PDFs, and government records.
OSINT Deep Web Search (Paid): Crawls developer repos, open pastes, and de-indexed logs. Tracks selectors like hashes, domains, and emails across hidden platforms.
Decentralized Web Archive (Paid): Retrieves time-stamped, cryptographically un-censorable mirrors via Arweave. Recovers scrubbed or deleted files.
What it does: Turn on Local Override to request your device's GPS location. Adge uses this to surface nearby doctors, mechanics, and other local businesses without Google tracking your identity.
How to use: Click the Local Override pill toggle. Your browser will ask for location permission. Once granted, results are biased toward your area.
Privacy: Your coordinates are sent only to the search query — they are never stored on any server.
Any time: No date restriction — returns all results regardless of when they were published.
Past 24h / Past week / Past month / Past year: Restrict results to pages published within the selected timeframe. Great for current events and avoiding outdated information.
Rex Research & Rense (warning leans a little too far right but an alternative view): Off by default. Click each chip to blend independent alternative-research archives into your search, ranked by natural relevance instead of ad spend.
YouTube: Off by default. Click the chip to include youtube.com video results alongside your web results.
Brainrot toggle: Off by default. Our flagship idea: The Brainrot button automatically turns off the social media sites, wikipedia, fake news mills and more to get to the real news underneath. Click off if you want.
arXiv: Frontier preprints in physics, math, computer science, and AI.
PubMed: Full-text biomedical and life-science papers.
data.gov: Hundreds of thousands of public government datasets.
.edu: All educational and university domains globally.
How to use: These targets appear only when Academic mode is selected. Click each chip to include or exclude that repository from your crawl.
Search History: Every query you run is saved locally in your browser. Click any item in the History tab to re-run that search instantly.
Saved Items: On the Results page, click the Save icon on any result to add it to your Saved Items tab. Access them anytime from the sidebar.
Local only: All history and saved items exist only on your device — never on a cloud or server.
Trash Can icon: Click the trash can icon in the sidebar to instantly clear your entire local search history. Once cleared, the data is gone forever — no server backup, no recovery.
No account needed: Because nothing is stored in the cloud, clearing your local storage is the only step needed to wipe all traces of your searches.
Save PDF: After running a Deep Research RAG search, click the Save PDF button to download the full cited report as a multi-page PDF to your Downloads folder.
Export: Use the Export button to download the raw Markdown (.md) file instead of a formatted PDF.
Regenerate: Click Regenerate to re-run the Deep Research synthesis with the same query for a fresh report.
What it does: Every search result is analyzed by an AI model that flags likely AI-generated or SEO-mass-generated content with a 'slop' badge and probability score.
How to read it: A high slop score means the page is likely mass-produced SEO filler. Use this to skip low-quality results and focus on primary sources.
On by default: The Brain Rot filter is hardwired into the application backend and turned ON across every user tier. It blocks algorithmic distractors, social media noise, content mills, and attention traps.
How to toggle: Use the Brainrot chip in the Source Buttons row to include or exclude social media platforms from your results.
Zero-cloud: Your searches, downloaded data, and preferences exist only on your phone or desktop computer. Adge servers never receive your queries.
No accounts: No account is required to stay private. Your history stays on your computer, not on the cloud.
Anonymous counter: The only metric Adge tracks is an anonymous daily '+1' counter for network traffic health — no trackers, fingerprints, or cookies.
Free tier: SearXNG search is always free — no account, no payment, no limits.
Paid tiers: Federated, Deep Research, Academic, OSINT, and Decentralized Archive modes require a prepaid pass. Click the Plans & Pricing link on the homepage or Results page to view all tiers.
No auto-renewal: All passes are prepaid. When your time or query limit is reached, access stops cleanly until you choose to reload. No saved cards, no auto-billing.
